High-end Incentive Programme around the Rolex Middle Sea Race
Incentives strengthen relationships
The aim of this trip was to strengthen the relationship between the company and the brokers in order to improve the service level for their end clients.
A potent mix of luxury & authenticity
The potent mix of bespoke events succeeded to achieve their objectives through an intricately-designed programme which flowed with luxury, authenticity, surprise, exclusivity, fun and originality, whilst keeping in line with the company values and brand image.
Widening communication channels
The company successfully-widened communication channels with their brokers, ingrained brand identity, earned loyalty and portrayed their company image across the board.
The group was split over 3 days. The first part of the group arrived on day 1 and left on day 2, whilst the second part of the group joined the first arrivals on day 2 and left on the day 3.
Upon arrival of the first group, the guests were invited to a welcome reception at the Royal Malta Yacht Club, amidst the bustling atmosphere of the yachts and sailors in anticipation of the race. They were then sped up to Gozo on 750hp powerboats directly from the Yacht Club’s pontoon. They discovered the island, using iPads to guide them in self-drive jeeps, and a lobster grill awaited them on the edge of a cliff. The main day started off with both groups meeting for the highlight of the event – champagne brunch at Villa Bighi to view the start of the race, where over a hundred yachts could be seen sailing out of the historic Grand Harbour. After most of the yachts had sailed out of the harbour, 35 vintage limousines (original Rolls Royce, Daimlers, Princess, Cadillac etc.) to the guests delight, pulled up into the venue to take the guests to Mdina where a farewell lunch was served in a privatised square whilst Malta’s top jazz singer entertained the guests.
After lunch, they were then taken from Mdina to Valletta in traditional vintage Maltese buses where they parted in style to a canon salute at the Upper Barrakka Gardens.
