We decided to give you a short list of apps that we use at the office to help us out in our projects – be it https://360.io/uU8B6R. When it loads, make sure to use your mouse to move around the venue. I took that 360 view in less than a minute with my iPhone. Impressive app!
Flightboard
This is another must-have app for those who want to make life easier at the airport. It’s a very simple app which shows you the departure and arrival details of all the flights during the day. You can fix the airport location or you can use the geo-location tool to find the nearest airport to you. The best thing about this app is that you can check the exact timing of the plane and it will notify you if it’s a couple of minutes late. Perfect if you have an international conference with people flying in from everywhere!
MagicPlan
An app which simply does magic! Imagine that you are in a meeting room and you need to have a detailed plan of the room very fast. You just get your very smart phone and hit the MagicPlan app. All you need to do is follow the instructions on screen and within a minute you will have a very detailed plan of the room, complete with dimensions, doors, windows, etc. A very useful app which will leave your clients and the hotel staff wondering how you managed do it so fast!
Honourable mentions:
- Minimal Folio – Great for iPad presentations and will easily replace the simple keynote!
- Dropbox – A complete online server where you can store photos, presentations, PDFs, etc and can easily be shared with clients. Great when you have presentations bigger that 13mb and you can’t send them through emails.
